What is the difference between an infiltrometer and a permeameter?
Infiltrometers are typically used in the field and permeameters are lab instruments.
They measure a soil’s infiltration rate, Infiltrometers, or the Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity – Ksat – of soil cores, Permeameters.
