Advantages at a glance
  • Large number of samples compared to other commercially available devices
  • Infinite variable speed control
The Overhead-shaker is used to homogenize soil samples. Several sample vessels may be fixed between two metal mesh baskets which rotate at a stepless controllable speed of up to 50 revolutions per minute around a rigid rotational axis. The current speed is shown in a digital display.

  • Reduction of the workload
  • Complete analysis for 12 samples in 4 fractions per day possible
  • Exact realization of the prescribed measuring conditions
  • High repeatability
The Sedimat 4-12 is a laboratory instrument for the automated determination of the particle size distribution in mineral soils according to DIN ISO 11277 (Köhn analysis) on up to 12 samples with 4 fractions (<0.002 mm to <0.063 mm). Optionally, 2 fractions can be determined according to US nomenclature.

  • for five different peristaltic pump systems
  • for small flow rates
  • practical table version
  • infinitely and independently adjustable
Our compact 5-fold Peristaltic pump system as a tabletop variant is a laboratory device with which you can convey or dose liquids (which are within the application range of the Verderprene hose) with a small flow rate. The flow rate is manually adjusted steplessly and independently of each other using a PWM motor speed controller with start-stop button for all five Peristaltic pump systems. This gives you a device that allows you greater flexibility in pumping experiments with small flow rates.

  • Large measuring chamber
  • Examination of large samples possible
  • No lancing cylinders required
  • No additional equipment required
Our air or gas pycnometer is an innovative measuring instrument for the determination of the air-filled pore volume, the solid volume as well as the solid density (dry bulk density) of a substrate sample in the laboratory. Especially the pore volume is a decisive factor for the evaluation of a soil for many questions of water balance, soil management or soil remediation. Air and water conductivity, as well as water and nutrient retention capacity are directly related to pore volume.

Complete set for the wet sieving method, to determine the aggregate stability of soil. This provides valuable insights into the sensitivity of soils to water and wind erosion

  • Works with simple disturbed samples
  • 8 inert beakers allow for the use of chemicals
  • Pre-programmed grain-wash time
  • Determines the susceptibility to (splash) erosion
  • Sieve out the grains from 0.04 to 0.079 in (1.00 to 2.00 mm)
  • The grains falling apart are measured
