The Easy-To-Go Lysimeter (ETG) complements the product range for field lysimeters in the low-cost range. It offers a standardized alternative to our flexibly equipped Ready-To-Go lysimeters and still provides all the essential functions for determining the most important soil water balance parameters. The ETG comprises a lysimeter vessel with a diameter of 300 mm and a height of 600 mm as well as two soil moisture and soil temperature sensors (SMT-100), a tipping counter, a weighing system and a mast with data logger. The data is continuously transmitted to your individual SVADSS data management portal via NB-IoT wireless technology. All ETGs are suitable for both disturbed (manual filling) and undisturbed soil monoliths (special sampling technology). The ETG lysimeter station can be set up and put into operation without special tools and even without trained UGT personnel.

To complement our lysimeter product line, we have developed a laboratory scale solution. The laboratory lysimeter is a small weighable lysimeter station, suitable for monoliths with a diameter of 200 to 800 mm and a height of 200 to 1.500 mm and indoor investigations. It is suitable for both disturbed (filled by hand) and undisturbed soil monoliths (special sampling devices). We offer laboratory lysimeters in a variety of configurations. Each laboratory lysimeter system is customized to fit the planned project.

To complement the product line, UGT has developed a smaller and more cost-effective solution for field studies in addition to the large PE-HD lysimeter stations. The Ready-To-Go Lysimeters are small weighable lysimeter stations suitable for monoliths with a diameter of 300, 500, 800 or 1130 mm and a length of 300, 600 or 900 mm. All Ready-To-Go Lysimeters (RTG) are suitable for both disturbed (filling by hand) and undisturbed soil monoliths (special sampling technique). The entire RTG lysimeter station can be set up and put into operation without special tools and also without trained UGT personnel. The standard RTG system consists of a stainless steel lysimeter vessel, a weighing system, a leachate tank with tipping trough, a set of high-precision and accurate-fitting soil hydrological sensors, and a control station for each. With UGT sensors such as tensiometers, water content and temperature probes, and suction probes, we can help you study ecosystem function and effects.
